Coptic bindings are some of the oldest bookforms in existence--stretching 2000 years in the past. With a decorative and functional external binding, these books are great for a variety of functions--albums, journals, sketchbooks, and artist books--and have the ability to lay completely flat. Participants will be able to learn bookbinding basics to create their own hardcover coptic book covered in decorative papers. Enjoy refreshments with craft friends while you bind your own coptic journal.
