Wanting to add a bit of ambiance to your tablescapes when entertaining? This workshop will focus on western-style papermaking exploring decorative paper techniques, such as watermarks, laminating, and blowouts that allow for light to illuminate the paper. Participants will create their own designs using rubber sandblast resist utilizing both hand cutting methods and a Cricut©. Students will learn basic paper-making techniques using pigments, cotton, overbeaten abaca and flax for the first two sessions and then explore making paper luminary forms once dry in the third session. Open to all levels.
