Sashiko Stitching and Boro (2-5pm)

All Levels

Ages 16+

4 Weeks

Sashiko and Boro Stitching both originated out of necessity by the poor people in Northern Japan. Textiles were very precious and passed down from one generation to the next. Sashiko is more decorative and Boro very functional. Both forms will be taught in this class. A great skill to have to repair old jeans and also add a decorative touch.
