WM16 Jewelry + Metalsmithing: Level 3
Intermediate to Advanced*                            6 weeks

This course builds on traditional metalworking techniques learned in beginning classes. Intermediate students continue to refine technical skills and acquire new ones such as basic stone setting. Guidance in design will be provided in making one-of-a-kind jewelry, small scale sculpture, and functional objects. Supplies include bezel wire, cabochon stone, and limited copper or brass sheet. Students supply silver and additional metal.

*Prerequisite: Jewelry Foundations: Level 2 or equivalent within the last 3 years. Must have experience with piercing, filing, sawing, and high-temperature soldering.
