Watercolor Monoprints (2-5pm)

Spend the day experimenting with a low stress, all-levels, print technique! This one day workshop will explore monotypes (non-reproducible prints) using the medium of watercolor. Unlike traditional watercolor painting on paper, we will be applying paint to a fine-toothed film, allowing for additive and subtractive painting, as well as stencils and layering. Plates will be run through the etching press to produce the final images on paper. No printing or painting experience necessary! Students will walk away with 2-3 unique prints.
