This two day workshop provides an introduction to cyanotype printing. Also known as blueprints, the process was invented in 1842 and saw its greatest widespread use between the 1870s to 1950s as a low cost reproduction process for architectural and engineering plans. Recast in a fine art context in the 1960s, the cyanotype process lends itself well to a wide range of artistic applications.
